Rebuilding Together Broward County has several programs which support local communities and relies on the generous financial support of companies and individuals. Support our year-round programs! Every day we are in the homes of low-income families who have vital needs in order to restore safe and sanitary conditions. These repairs and modifications allow the homeowners to continue to live in their home in comfort and independence. Your sponsorship makes a direct difference year-round.
Here are some examples of what your sponsorship can provide to low income homeowners who are elderly, disabled, veterans and/or families who have minor children in the home:
- Grab bars
- Smoke and CO2 detectors
- Bathroom safety equipment
- Safety lights
- Electrical Repairs
- Plumbing
- Appliances such as refrigerators, stoves and ovens
- Energy conservation and weatherization
- Roof replacement or repair
- Disaster/Emergency Preparedness Kits
- Build wheelchair ramp
- Railings
- Safety upgrades
- Removing clutter

The Young Professionals Society (YPS), sponsored and staffed by Rebuilding Together Broward County, is a service organization of young professionals who support RTB and its mission through community outreach, fundraising, networking, and volunteering on an annual basis to ensure the growth and strength of RTB.

The Builders Olympiad and Family Festival, which is the signature fundraiser for Broward and consists of a series of fun and unique Olympic themed events geared towards team building. This event also has a family friendly element which will have events and activities to make for a fun event for the entire family! The event will be held at the Bergeron Rodeo Grounds in Davie and will be happening on Saturday, October 17th.

National Rebuilding Day, the nation-wide initiative which brings over 200 affiliates together on the last Saturday in April for a major community revitalization, will be held locally on May 1, 2010 in Pompano Beach, Fl. This event is at the heart of what Rebuilding Together does, and combines the efforts of hundreds of volunteers, thousands of dollars and changes the lives of dozens of Broward County homeowners.
