As a City Ambassador you have the option to grow your skills as a volunteer in a variety of ways. Rebuilding Together Broward has created this volunteer training program to encourage members of the Broward community to get involved and give back and educate on the power of volunteerism. The goal of the City Ambassador program is to offer volunteers the opportunity to take ownership of their experience and to represent their city in raising awareness about the important work that Rebuilding Together Broward does. If you’re a handy person, then your skills can change the lives of low income homeowners in Broward. Dozens of house captains are needed for our Annual Rebuilding Together Day, and skilled laborers are in great demand to work on houses throughout the year. These projects range in size from minor modifications to major repairs but aim to always restore safe and sanitary living conditions and allow homeowners to live in cleanliness and comfort. We are always looking for a few good people who are knowledgeable in home repair, comfortable working in tight spots and on ladders and able to work during the week and on the last Saturday in April.
